What Is Non-Monogamy?

The term 'Open-Relationship' has different meaning depending on the context of your situation. You can also refer to 'it' as Non-Monogamy.

“Ethical Non-Monogamy“ is a great term that encompasses all the ways that you can consciously, with agreement and consent from all involved, explore love and sex with multiple people.

Here are a few definitions that help shed more light on subject.
  • POLYAMORY: Loving more than one, usually interested in living together, growing deeper bonds. 2-3-4 or more with various agreements
  • SWINGING: Sex Play, no long-term relationships
  • POLYFIDELITY: Closed set of relationships. Triad, quad or more. Sexually exclusive with the people in the relationship “system”
  • PRIMARY RELATIONSHIP & SECONDARY RELATIONSHIP: Central (primary) relationship, one is more “on the side” (secondary).
  • SEXUAL MONOGAMOUS POLYAMORY: A married beloved to or live with, and someone else that YOU are in love with and/or have a deep erotic attraction to but do not have sex with. Sexually monogamous but emotionally polyamorous.
  • OPEN MARRIAGE: Flexibility in the marriage to explore sexual encounters and/or relationships with others. Can lead to poly with deeper ties to lovers, swinging etc
  • NON-DEFINED: Don’t label me, friends with benefits (FWB), married and dating, polyfidelity, swinging or any of the above. My ethical sexual practices evolve and shift as I mature.
